HORNY HONDA
Fall motorcycle shows, such as Intermot in Cologne, Germany, give us something we can count on: cool bikes that will never set tread to U.S. tarmac. This year was no different with Honda showing off its new Hornet 600. The 2007 CBR600RR-based powerplant is a compact unit that features PGM-Fl fuel-injection and is tuned for torque while still delivering more top-end performance than the previous Hornet's mill.
An all-new chassis is packed with components that give this middleweight street credibility, including a 41mm inverted fork, dual front discs with three-piston calipers (optional ABS), an aluminum swingarm and light weight five-spoke aluminum wheels.
, styung toucnes inciuae a new upper fairing with twin stacked headlights, a stubby tailsection with LED taillight and a low-slung under-engine exhaust system. But, being that the bike is Euro-only, we'll just have to keep on drearnin'.
