Look for a fully faired, street-legal version of the KTM 390 Duke with clipon bars to make its debut at EICMA in November. This new RC390, based on the RC390 ADAC Cup spec racer (photo) unveiled at the Sachsenring last summer, will go on sale in Europe early next year. More significant, a representative from KTM North America told us that he expects the new RC390 to come to the U.S., perhaps later in 2014. Let’s hope that’s the case, because we’re big fans of seriously focused small-displacement sportbikes. And we expect the Indian-made RC390 to be just that, powered by a four-valve 373cc Single and weighing somewhere between the 306-pound 390 Duke and the 287-lb. Cup bike.
