2012 MV AGUSTA F3 SERIE ORO

WITH PRODUCTION OF ITS BRAND-NEW, THREE-CYLINDER 675CC F3 MOVED UP

by four months and bikes expected to hit European dealerships by the end of this year, MV Agusta recently announced a suggested retail price of 11,990 Euros ($16,940) for the standard edition of the bike. Keeping with company tradition, however, volume production will be preceded by a limited run of 200 “Serie Oro” versions, which have significant upgrades over the standard model.

Unique to this model are gold swingarm pivot plates *

and a single-sided swingarm, with forged aluminum wheels anodized to match. Mechanically, the F3 Serie Oro features /f/\ / a few key parts that differ from those of the base model. ƒ \ \/à These include Brembo radial-mount Monobloc one| I

piece calipers working on Racing discs, along with a fully adjustable Öhlins fork, TTX shock and steering damper. \

Machined billet-aluminum rearsets also are standard. Front and rear fenders, dash cover, airbox covers, fairing inserts, chain guards, lower fairing and stacked exhaust outlets are all made of carbon fiber and clearcoated for protection from the elements. Pricing for the Serie Oro has not yet been released. —Blake Conner
