YAMAHA’S FZ1 IS ABOUT AS MODERN A STANDARD AS YOU can get these days, with sharp styling and monochrome paintjobs fitting its role in the Tuning Fork Folks’ lineup. But if you’ve got a retro bent and happen to be a fan of Lawson, Rainey, Roberts and the rest of Yamaha’s roadracing greats, consider the recently released retro bodywork kit. The $1600 kit fits 2006-09 models and includes a fuel tank, airbox cover, seat cowl, fairing, front fender and tailsection, all painted in white/red/black racing livery.
