Our first question was, “Does it have 180 horsepower?!” Unfortunately, no, this flashy GSX-R-inspired Burgman 400 is bone-stock aside from its superbike graphics and MotoGP-inspired silencer. And no, you can’t buy it, either. But Suzuki was curious about attracting a younger scooter buyer-the average Burgman owner, the company says, is in his mid-40s. A product of Suzuki’s recently re-established U.S. design center, the Burgman 400 “R” was well received. Even so, Suzuki claims it currently has no plans to produce a Burgman to this spec. -Mark Hoyer
