BONNIE TURNS 50

Triumph’s legendary Bonneville celebrated its 50th anniversary this past summer. Blending traditional styling with an exciting ride, the Bonnie has been the bike of choice for screen idols like Steve McQueen, James Dean and Marlon Brando. Triumph is celebrating the occasion by producing two unique commemorative designs, one conceived by Hollywood star Ewan McGregor and the other by apparel-maker Belstaff. McGregor’s incorporates a copper-plated gas tank while the seat and sidecovers are covered in Belstaff’s black waxed cotton. Belstaff’s bike features gold pinstriping over a flat-black finish with a café-racer tailsection. The limited-edition Belstaff bike will be on display at its flagship store in London as well as in Rome and Milan and will be available for purchase in select stores later this year. The copper-tank custom will be auctioned off to benefit UNICEF. Blake Conner
