NHTSA Recall No. 06V465000 Triumph Sprint ST, Sprint ST ABS Model years: 2006-07 Number of units involved: 1913 Problem: On certain motorcycles, the through-bolt on the rear-suspension linkage may bend, and if the bolt is not replaced or the bike is overloaded, the bolt may fracture, causing the rear tire to make contact with the underside of the rear fender. This could cause a subsequent loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a highergrade bolt than the original, along with a single through-sleeve (the original design used three separate sleeves). Owners not receiving this free remedy should contact Triumph at 678/854-2010.
