Mini Shooting Stars
It may just be an exhibition, but these kids are happy to bask in the stadium limelight

What do professional motocrossers Mike and Jeff Alessi, Ryan Dungey and Zach Osborne have in common? For starters, all four participated in KTM’s Junior Supercross program as kids; now they are sponsored professional riders competing in the AMA’s premier series on factory teams.
The JRSC program accompanies AMA Supercross as it bounces back and forth across the U.S. and Canada starting in December (excluding Daytona). The exhibition races are often one of the most entertaining events of the evening, pitting 15 7to 8-year-olds against one another in front of some of the largest motorsports audiences in the country. Each year, 255 kids participate in the program, which concludes with the winner from each of 17 rounds invited to the U.S. Open of Super-
cross at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas for a final showdown.
If you think you have what it takes to be the next Supercross star, want the attention of 60,000 cheering fans or just yearn to ride on a real Supercross track, go down to your local KTM dealer for information on how to sign up.
