What to wear, then?
Fret not, knee-brace-maker EVS has you covered. Literally. Its thigh-length, six-panel lycra compression shorts are similar to those sold at bicycle shops, but differ mostly in that they have internal hip pockets for thin, kidney-shaped foam pads. The latter can be used to supplement or replace the larger pads that come standard in most motocross pants, or removed altogether. A Tshaped pad guards the tailbone, and is stitched permanently in place.
