WORLD'S SMALLEST CRUISER?
Young Japanese riders can be a part of the cruiser craze, thanks to the diminutive Honda Jazz. The company calls its chrome-laden machine the "pet-sized American." Weighing a claimed 160 pounds dry, the Jazz is propelled by an air-cooled, ohc, 49cc Single that is said to produce all of four horsepower. As is the case for owners of larger cruisers, Jazz lovers can choose from a range of aftermarket parts to personalize their choppers. Options include a 1-into2 exhaust with upswept, slash-cut mufflers, and a wide array of chromed components.
At current exchange rates, the Jazz costs about $2600. A U.S. Honda spokesman says there are no plans to export the bike to this country.
