Keihin racing carbs

Keihin’s smooth-bore-type racing carburetors are now available for four-stroke Singles and Twins. Available in 26mm, 29mm, 31 mm, 35mm, 37mm and 39mm bore sizes, these carbs come with mounting spigots and velocity stacks. A push/ pull throttle is required (sold as an option), and tuning and replacement parts are readily available. Single cylinder applications start at $204.95 and the twin-cylinder sets begin at $303.95. White Bros. DR350 goodies

Need more power from that new Suzuki DR350 or 350S? White Bros. (14241 Commerce Dr., Garden Grove, CA 92643; 714/554-9442) can accommodate you. The company has performance cams, heavyduty valve springs, exhaust systems, large-bore carburetors, and 390 and 420cc kits for the DRs. The Bros, can transform the DR’s playbike suspension into serious racing hardware, too. Sportster belt-drive kit

Owners of 1986 and newer Harley-Davidson Sportsters can chuck that messy, noisy final-drive chain and replace it with a quiet, clean, durable cog-belt drive system. Available through H-D dealers for $499.95, this kit includes front and rear sprockets, a Poly-Chain belt, polished front sprocket cover, crankcase counterbore tool, chromed belt guard, and all mounting hardware and installation instructions.

Metzeler Marathons for Gold Wings

Metzeler Tires (4520 107th St. SW, Everett, WA 98204; 206/348-4000) has announced the availability of their high-mileage Marathon tires for Honda Gold Wings. Available in a broad range of sizes, these long-wearing tires feature belted casings that reduce centrifugal growth at speed, a maximum cold psi rating of 49, and high-grip rubber compounds. Additionally, Metzeler’s quality standards required the Marathons to pass a 50-percent overload test, which lets the company recommend and warranty these tires for use with trailers.
