The scene is a press conference held by Suzuki to introduce four made-for-television motorcycle films sponsored by the company. Warren Reid is introduced and takes the podium. He talks about hi switch to Suzuki's works motocross team, from Kawasaki.

“The first time I rode a production Suzuki I couldn’t believe it handled better than my works Kawasaki.”

The audience laughs, and Reid, taken aback, says defensively, “Well, it’s a Suzu^ ki meeting, isn’t it?”

When things simmer down, Reid continues, talking about his first race on a Suzuki. “I had a really good opening race on a production bike and the guys who beat me and some of the guys I beat were on works bikes. So when I get my factor) bike those guys are gonna be hating life.” Nothing like confidence. Go get ’em Warren.
