CBX BIG BORE KIT

People who must have more power from their Honda CBX Six can now buy an 1130cc big bore kit from Ontario Moto Tech Corp., formerly Yoshima Racing Service. In conjunction with an Ontario Moto Tech 6-into-2-into-1 exhaust system, the big-bore kit shown will produce 145 tractable horsepower across a wide powerband in street trim. The kit includes 67mm 10.5:1 pistons, wrist pins, wrist pin clips, rings, head gasket, camshafts and Ontario super strength hardened and shot-peened chrome-moly connecting rods. The Ontario exhaust system for the CBX (not shown) is available with street (allowing use of centerstand) and racing (for unlimited ground clearance) tail sections. Optional racing parts available from Ontario include a ported and polished cylinder head with 1mm oversize valves. Full race versions of the Ontario CBX engine produce more than 160 horsepower. ATP TURBO EXHAUST

American Turbo-Pak has introduced this new exhaust system for turbocharged motorcycles. According to the company, the new Spyder exhaust system is good for two-tenths of a second in the quarter mile and better low end and mid-range torque when compared to other turbocharged motorcycle exhaust systems. TWO-TONE SEATS

Mr. Seats, Inc. builds two-tone seat covers for motorcycles. The idea is that you buy the seat cover and install it over the stock seat padding, using the stock cover fasteners and hooks. For example, the Mr. Seats cover for the Honda CBX is silver and black, producing a stunning effect. According to the company, the Stocker GT seat kit comes with seat cover, adhesive and instruction for assembly. WISCO ROUGHRIDER BATTERIES

ESB Wisco, Inc., a division of ESB Ray-O-Vac, produces American-made motorcycle batteries said to withstand vibration far better than leading competitive batteries. According to the company, the new Wisco Roughrider battery out-tested other top batteries in a U.S. Ordnance Vibration Test (whatever that is) by a two-to-one margin. The Wisco Roughrider has a unique internal construction with shock-resistant ABS plastic cover and flex-resistant container.
