NEW MODELS & PRODUCTS
PARABOOT
Paraboot, a French firm, is now making motocross and trials boots for professionally oriented bike buffs.
Visible at first glance is an extra layer of 1/4 in. leather designed to give the instep and toes the additional protection needed for hard riding. Deep within the boot is a spring steel leaf which strengthens the sole for prolonged use on narrow footpegs.
The sole is made from hard rubber. Under the arch is a cut-away for the footrest that stops 3/8 in. from the outer edge. This design, according to the manufacturer, lessens the chance of catching the boot’s heel when it is sliding over rough ground.
