UP To you, our readers, for helping make the Cycle World/Kióe For Kids Honda CBR1000RR our most successful fundraising bike in years. According to Mary Ratcliffe of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, nearly $55,000 had been raised by mid-March, and a huge spike in online donations occurred right after our March article on the custom Honda appeared in print. Raffle tickets for the bike, built by Gregg’s Customs of New Hampshire, remain available at www.rideforkids.org until May 4, and Ratcliffe reports that the CW project bikes have raised a whopping $712,034 since 2000. “Just think what a difference that’s made to the 28,000 kids in the U.S. affected by a brain tumor,” added Ratcliffe.
