Fuel injection, electric start, linked shock and a 350!
The cat has been out of the bag regarding KTM's 350 SX-F for some time now, but these are the first "official" photos of the production version.
A compact, short-stroke (88.0 x 57.5mm), dohc 349cc engine features Keihin fuel injection, four titanium valves with finger-follower actuation, a fivespeed gearbox and electric starting. Chassis highlights include a new WP shock linked to a cast aluminum swingarm. WP's latest closed-cartridge 48mm fork is fitted up front. A brand-new chrome-moly steel frame is lightweight and provides the ride characteristics that 10-time world champ Stefan Everts helped refine. Fresh bodywork, styling and proven components from Brembo, Excel and Renthal complete the package. Pricing has not yet been set for the SX models. —Blake Conner
