Ace lensman Michael Lichter is at it again, hosting a combination bike and art show at the Sturgis Rally. This year’s theme is “Old Skool, New School, All(s)Kool” and will feature 24 custom bikes, including the wacky “El Wood,” shown here, creation of rising star Aaron Greene from Paramount Customs. The exhibit will also showcase photos by Timothy White taken from

his new book on the late Indian Larry, plus displays by Robert Pradke, painter and pinstriper for many of Indian Larry’s machines. Lichter has outgrown his usual show location, Rapid City’s Journey Museum, so this year’s exhibit will run August 5-12 at Thunder Road, 3 miles east of I Sturgis on Highway 34.
