Sportsman’s Event

The Cross Island Motorcycle Club is sponsoring a sportsman’s 35th annual motorcycle jamboree and field meet on April 28, 1985 at Point Island Lookout Town Park, Long Island, New York. Sign up starts at 10:00 a.m. until noon. For more information call (516) 538-0340 or (516) 354-4570.

Castor River Rally

The Mississippi Valley Gold Wing Riders are presenting their inaugural Castor River rally on May 3, 4, 5 at Castor River Park, fifteen miles west of Lutesville, Missouri on Highway 34. The $ 15 pre-registration fee ($ 18 at the gate) includes camping (with showers) for two nights, a hot dog roast, Saturday night dinner, a poker run, awards, door prizes and more. Other food and beverages available on the grounds. Children’s admission from 12 years and younger, $8; under five years, free. All touring riders are welcome.

Swapmeet and bike show

Motorcycle Conference

On May 4, 5, the third annual Minnesota Motorcycle Conference will be held at the Sunwood Inn in St. Cloud. A variety of motorcycle products and rider education activities will be offered as well as numerous riding events. All-American Pig Out

The Tulsa Touring Riders are hosting the 1985 Grand Tour All-Ameri-> can Pig Out from January 1 to December 3 1. The tour features a maximum of 30 restaurants (five out of home state). British and European Meet

The BSA Owners Club of Southern California is inviting all fans of British and European motorcycles to participate in its swapmeet on March 24. It will be held outside at Symonds Cycles, 12206 Foothill Blvd.. Sylmar, California, starting at 8:00 a.m. There is no fee to sellers nor admission to buyers. This event features hundreds of British bike parts from BSAs, Nortons, Triumphs to the more-exotic Vincents, Ariels and Brough Superiors. Call (818) 897-4738 for information.

British Motorcycle Meet

A seventh annual British motorcycle meet, presented by the BSA Owners Club of New England, will be held on Sunday, May 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm at the Auburn Elks Club, Route 12.
