Welcome to Florida

The Pensacola Sunrunners Motorcycle Club is holding its fourth annual `Welcome to Florida" safety coffee break for motorcyclists traveling to Daytona Motorcycle Speedweek. Starting at sunrise every day from March 2 through March 6, they will be operating on Interstate 10 at the first rest stop in Florida.

All motorcyclists traveling east are invited to take a coffee break. have some conversation with fellow bikers and travel on refreshed.

Texas Gold Wing run

The Texas GWRRA Chapter 0 and the Central Texas Expo present The Central Texas Expo and Car nival Proclamation Run on March 29 through March 3 1. The rally features camping. trophies, local merchant discounts and a 40/30/20 drawing. Registration will include entrance to the carnival and trade fair, as well as nightly entertain ment. First grand prize is a 1 984 Honda VT 500 Ascot. second prize is a Shoreline cargo trailer.

California 500-mile tour

The California Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club will be holding its 3rd annual 500-Mile Tour on March 30 and 3 1. Sign-in begins at 5 a.m. at Accessories Unlimited in Newhall. California. The midpoint of the tour is Bakersfield, where camping and lodging will be avail able. Entry fee is $8. with a $ 1 discount offered to S.C.M.A. mem bers and mail-in registrations. Banana Belt poker run

A fifth annual memorial motor cycle road run will be presented by the Banana Belt Cruisers Motorcycle Club on May 3 through May 5. Check in at Mac's Cycle, 700 Bridge St., Clarkston, Washington, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. for the poker run on Saturday, which must be com pleted by 4 p.m. Trophies and other prizes will be awarded following the run. Overnight camping is available, including a Saturday evening ca tered dinner and a Sunday morning coffee-and-pastry breakfast.

June in Iowa

The North Iowa Road Riders has scheduled their second annual rally on June 1 and 2 at the Surf Ball room in Clear Lake, Iowa. They offer a pin and poker run, awards, dancing on Saturday evening with a Sunday morning breakfast. Registra tion is $8.50 each or $ 17 per couple. Ramapo 500

July 13 and 14 has been marked for the AMA-sanctioned, ninth an nual Ramapo 500 presented by the Ramapo Motorcycle Club. This touring event is open to the first 500 entrants and, as in the past, will include some of the finest mo torcycling roads in the northeast. The pre-registration fee is $ 1 9, or $24 at sign-in.
