DETACHABLE BAGS FROM BATES

BEL-RAY GREASE

Bel-Ray grease is perfect for motorcycle use because it is completely waterproof. It is used by top factory motocross and enduro teams and by ISDT champions. It

COAST CYCLE TANK COVER

Offering protection for your gas tank and convenient storage, the Coast Cycle Tank Cover is available in a variety of colors to fit all large Japanese motorcycles (except the Gold Wing) and post-1969 BMWs. The standard model Commuter has a pocket on each side, an emblem on top and sells for $28.95. It is ideal for gas tank protection under a tank bag. The

deluxe Interstate ($41.95) has a Velcro-closed pocket on the left, two open pockets and a zipper-closed pocket on the right and a clear plastic map pocket on top. THE MXL BOOT

National Hydron has joined the plastic boot craze with a polyurethane boot. It is unaffected by oil, water, gas and most other chemicals. The anatomically designed liner is machine washable and provides extra protection. Ankle movement is facilitated by stainless steel pivots and full ankle movement is claimed. Motocross models are red with semi-smooth soles. Enduro boots are blue with cleated soles. Sizes 7 through 13 are available for $139 to $149 depending on the location of your local dealer.

PERMATEX CLEAN AND QUIET

Permatex has a cure for noisy disc brakes. Called Clean and Quiet, the kit consists of a can of disc cleaner and a can containing a special chemical that prevents squealing. Available from almost any auto parts store.
