BARUM MOTOCROSS TIRE

A new Barum motocross rear tire is now available in a 550-17 size. These new tires are light, weighing only 12 lb., 8 oz., said to be 3-6 lb. less than other popular European 17-in. rear tires. Their rubber compound is soft, allowing excellent traction. The 1978½ Husqvarnas are scheduled to come stock with these Barum-Cross tires. Price is $55 from Malcolm Smith Racing Products, Dept. INSTANT VINYL

Rips in upholstery in autos, vans, pickups and motorhomes or in contoured cycle seats can be easily repaired with Instant Vinyl, a transparent, permanent adhesive for leather, vinyl and fabric.

It is applied directly from the tube, requires no heat, dries quickly, and is flexible and waterproof.

It’s also good for leather and vinyl jackets, pants and leather gloves. The tube retails for $2 and is available at auto supply stores, car wash accessory shops, general merchandise and variety chain stores, paint stores, and in True Value and Ace Hardware stores.

EUROPEAN STYLE TANK BAG BY ENDURA

A new addition to the Endura line of motorcycle accessories is this tank bag. One of the largest on the market, it features two zippered side pockets and a full length and width weather flap with transparent map pocket. Lift the flap, and you have a full 20 in. zipper the entire length of the top, for easy access to your goodies.

The bag snaps to a vinyl backed carpet pad which in turn straps to your tank. When the bag is removed from the pad, it may be carried by a hand strap located in the front of the bag, while the pad remains permanently mounted to the gas tank.
