CYALUME LIGHTSTICK

EDMONDSTON INDUSTRIES CARBURETOR

This new carburetor is claimed to maintain a higher velocity, even at minimum throttle openings, than any other carburetor. Controlled high-velocity air flow is accomplished by the design of the guillotine-type slide, patented flat metering rod and trench-type venturi.

The float bowl uses the E.I. fuel pickup umbrella, which supplies fuel without being affected by jumps, whoop-de-doos or engine vibration, thus providing a constant flow' of fuel.

Tuning is accomplished by varying the needle and its position, for which a special tool is provided.

This carburetor is claimed to eliminate the need for main jets, low speed jets and idle jets, and rarely needs cleaning or rebuilding.

The E.I. carburetor is available in sizes to fit most motorcycles. All parts are interchangeable between the different size carburetors. For example, the change from a 30mm to 34mm carburetor can be made by buying a different carburetor body.

E.I. carburetors are available from your local dealer.

This is a liquid chemical system that converts energy into light without heat, flame or spark. It is about the size of a cigar and is activated when the tube is flexed slightly, giving off a yellow-green light the manufacturer says can be seen for more than a mile.

Once activated the illumination from the hi-intensity safety light will last 30 minutes; the general purpose version lasts up to 12 hours.

The Cyalume lightstick is available for approximately $1.50 each from Cadillac-Plastic and Chemical Company. CW-6. P.O. Box 810. Detroit. Mich. 48232.
