LONG TRAVEL FROM INTERPART
From Interpart Corporation comes the new Long Travel Gas Shock. Like all Mulholland shocks, the LTG is fully rebuildable and tunable to give the widest range of combinations to tune your suspension to your type of ride. These large-volume shocks combine the new technology of gas/oil hydraulic action with one of the longest travels of any shock.
Construction features include a larger oil reservoir, stronger half-inch-diameter piston rod and a special aerospace treatment to all moving parts for maximum lubricity. The shock fluid has been developed to reach operating prime at the higher temperatures of 180° F and above. Custom vertical aluminum fins, which prevent dirt from building up, are sweat-fitted to the outer shock body to give a positive heat dissipating seal to transfer off temperature build-up at prolonged operation. Six-stage progressive valv-
ing automatically provides three separate settings at both compression and rebound control to accommodate the changes in speed and terrain on which you ride.
There is also a complete range of special springs developed exclusively for the LTG and its longer travel. These progressive springs are available in pound ratings of 78/ 106, 86/118, 94/138, and 97/154. Straight springs come in ratings of 72, 80, 100, 112, 121 and 130 pounds.

FOR THOSE HARD-TO-MAKE HOLES
Safety-wiring is the only 100-percent sure method of locking those nuts and bolts that might vibrate loose at a critical moment. Until now, drilling that tiny hole was such a pain that most mechanics settled for less. Now, this invaluable tool, made of heat-treated alloy steel, makes easy work of a frustrating job. Holds the nut or bolt while you accurately drill either .040 or .052-in. hole to accept the two most commonly used sizes of safety wire. With two drills and instructions, the price is $9.95 from Richardson, Dept. J, P.O. Box 147, Westboro, MA 01581.
