TRAVEL/TROUBLE LIGHT
A Travel/Trouble light has been introduced by Able 2 Products Co. which features a 12-ft. cord and universal cigarette adaptor plug or a 16-ft. cord with battery clips for connecting directly to the battery. Two rubber suction cups allow the light to be positioned anywhere for a variety of uses. SPARK PLUG CLEANER
Jay craft Engineering has developed a simple, home/workshop method of cleaning spark plugs, which uses the principle of a jet-stream of uniformly spherical glass beads, blasting the business-end of a plug. The unit, called Turbo-Blast, is said to extend the life of spark plugs up to 50,000 miles. The Turbo-Blast operates on household current and a 12,000 rpm motor drives a fan which blasts a stream of tiny glass beads to scour a plug clean in seconds. LIQUID RUST REMOVER
MP-7 liquid rust remover can be used to clean small parts by dipping them in the remover or be sprayed or brushed on rusty surfaces. SOUNDMASTER SILENCER
Master Products has developed a glass-packed silencer to weld onto existing expansion chambers in place of the standard stinger cap, which is said to greatly reduce noise. Three sizes are available, utilizing 11/2 or 2-in. cases, with 1, 11/4 and 11/2-in. cores, for up to 250cc, 250-400cc and over 400cc displacements, respectively. SYNTHETIC DRI-SLIDE
A new lubricant from Dri-Slide is claimed to contain no solids and not to stain. The clear material is said to offer excellent cleaning, penetrating and rust inhibiting characteristics, provide a thin dry-film, displace moisture and be effective in “problem type” applications. SUPER SILENCER
S&S has introduced the Super Silencer muffler which is said to tone down expansion chambers without reducing horsepower. They are guaranteed unbreakable and attach quickly with a screw clamp. Super Silencers feature a removable end cap for replacing the glass-pack and the cap also acts to “center” the muffler core so that it cannot come loose and rattle. GREASE INJECTOR
Ag-Tronic’s new grease injector is said to extend the life of wheel bearings that were not made with a grease fitting.
