HOT HANDS
An electric handle grip warmer, called Hot Hands, that wraps around the grip like a miniature electric blanket has been developed by Ideation Research. The grip covers are 5-in. long and 5.75-in. wide. They have a tough, bright crimson fleece exterior and a tightly woven blue lining, with the heating element in between the two. A dual range heat control which can be used with any 6 or 12V electrical system, battery or magneto, can be adjusted from zero to 70 degrees above the outside temperature. HELMETS IN COLORS
Electrofilm, Inc. has introduced a line of helmets available in a full range of colors and patterns. All designs are an integral part of the finish on the streamlined contour shell. The tailored interior is fully lined and padded. The helmet is said to exceed ANSI and Z90 specifications. DITTY BAG
Constructed of extra-strength industrial naugahyde, this new ditty bag features a water-proof flap design with chromed twist fasteners. An adjustable carrying handle and loop buckles are said to make the 8x11-in. satchel easy to strap to motorcycles for use as an overnight bag, tool pouch, etc. The bags are available through Hodaka dealers or from Pabatco, Dept. BATTERY-HEATED SHIRTS
Timely Products now offers a battery-heated shirt which applies heat directly to the entire lower back area without the interference of intervening layers of clothing. The heating apparatus is easily removed from the Lectra-Shirt so that it may be cleaned or worn in milder weather. LIGHTWEIGHT SURVIVAL KIT
Leisurecraft Industries is marketing a lightweight Universal Survival Kit which weighs only 1.5 lb. and measures 5-l/8x3-l/8 in., yet includes all items necessary for emergency survival. The kit can sustain life during a short period of breakdown or when lost or stranded. The kit includes an instruction kit and illustrations on the use of each item. Refills also are available. "CHROMED" GOGGLES
Cosmopolitan Motors, Inc., Dept. CW-12, Hatboro, PA 19040, has introduced Baruffaldi "chromed" goggles having a mirror-like appearance from the outside and featuring adjustable anti-fog vents, foam lining and special cutaways to fit over glasses. The goggles list for $10.95.
MOTORCYCLE PATCHES
Bike owners can now display the name of their favorite motorcycle with brightly colored, embroidered sew-on patches available from Sportstyl, Inc., Dept. CW-12, P.O. Box 628, Lewistown, PA 17044. Two sizes are available-2x4.75-in. for chest or sleeve, and 4xll.5-in. for back display.
SOLO POWCH
National Recreation Products now markets the Solo Powch, a collapsible bag which fits to the back of National's back rest and is held secure by two bolts inside the bag. The bag also fits the Cycle Rax line of back rests. The Solo Powch is held against the back rest by two side snaps, and it can be zipped up and locked with a small padlock through the top grommet. TONNEAU CAMPER
A new camper cover which folds down into a tonneau when not in use now is available through Tonneau-Camper, Dept. CW-12, 2960 Randolph St., Costa Mesa, CA 92626. The fabric cover features a twist-to-lock framework and is said to be easy to assemble by one person with no special tools. Prices start at $195 for the tonneau camper and cover unit, and $54 for the tonneau cover only.
MOLLY-DESIGNED PATTERNS
Molly, well-known custom painter and designer, has created a new line of helmet designs for the American Sports Co., Inc.'s Furry Series helmets. COMPACT EXTINGUISHER
An all-purpose aerosol fire extinguisher has been introduced by the Maywood Company for use on all types of fires, including grease, oil, wood, gasoline, fabrics, paper and electrical. It is said to be effective from five to ten feet from the fire and an easy-to-operate valve lets out only the amount of fluid necessary to extinguish the flame.
