MOTORCYCLE DAY IN SWEDEN

BENGT BJORKLUND

MOTOCYCLEING HAD its own day, for the first time, in Kariskoga, when over 200 riders converged on the Gelleras racing circuit for a weekend of camping, rallying (enduros), parades, a concourse d'elegance (custom show), and other events. Riders attended from Sweden, Norway, England, and one came from Germany, winning a distance award. Festivities began with a headlight parade in the evening, and ended two days later with the judging of some of the unusual machines in the "beauty contest."
